Unfortunately a combination of bad weather and the condition of the pitches meant that most of Saturday’s fixtures were called-off. This was particularly disappointing for the Under 15’s whose eagerly anticipated semi-final against Ballymena was hit.

The only game that did proceed was the 5th XV McCambley Cup fixture up at Strabane. Unfortunately the Carrick team were on the wrong side of an incredibly hard fought match, losing 6-0. They now go back into the Ravenhill Cup where they will be keen to get back to winning ways.
